We are excited to announce Sugar being a part of two events this year during OSCON in Portland in mid-July.

First off, on Tuesday July 17th we’ll be a part of the OpenSocial State of the Union at Jive Software’sPortland Office. For those of you not familar with OpenSocial, it is a standard for sharing social data on the web, and in particular is a standard technology for doing integrations between various applications. SugarCRM has joined the foundation earlier this year with the goal of driving a standards based integration technology, and several of us from Sugar will be in attendance ( along with Clint Oram doing a talk ) to better engage with the community. If you are a Sugar developer, you definitely should check out what they are doing and become involved in the OpenSocial community. You can register for the free event event here and the Apache Rave/Shindig party afterward here.

And then on Wednesday, come to OSCON to see two talks lead by me:

And as always, I love to catch up with Sugar users and developers, so if you are one and will be in Portland be sure to let me know. And if you’d like to attend OSCON, be sure to check out the free expo only pass in addition to all the other registration options.
