Editor’s Note: We have worked with Microsoft to resolve the issues found in the 2.0 driver, and a new version has been released; see this post for details
We’ve been doing testing with the updated version of the Microsoft SQL Server Driver for PHP 2.0, which was released last month, to certify support for it with SugarCRM. In the process we found an issue with the driver in the way it handles long column names, which the SQL Server team at Microsoft have acknowledged and told us they plan to fix in an upcoming release.
In the meantime, we ask all users to continue using the 1.1 driver until an updated version comes out and we can verify support for it. Thanks for everyone’s understanding, and for Microsoft in their help in identifying and resolving the issue.
