I’m starting a new series of blog posts today called “How can we make things better?”. My goal here is to start the conversation on ways we can improve in the services we provide to our partner and developer communities, soliciting feedback for ideas on how we can improve to make your work with SugarCRM much easier. There’s lots of things we want to work on improving, so each installment will focus on one part of the equation. For today, I’d like to focus on the bug tracker.
The bug tracker provides a way for our community, partners, and customers to report issues they are seeing in the product. We look at the issues coming in from this channel and triage them appropriate, and depending upon the severity and complexity of the issue we will tag them to be addresses in particular release. The interface definitely has it’s drawbacks, and we are looking into ways to improve it to make it much more user friendly and informative.
This is where I’d love to hear everyone’s feedback. Sound off in the comments below, or tweet to use at @sugardev on Twitter your suggestions to improve how we can improve the portal.
