Having the blues upgrading to Sugar 6.2?

sugarcrmdevelopers —  June 28, 2011 — 2 Comments

We’ve heard from the early adopters of Sugar 6.2 of a few issues seen during upgrade, namely:

  • jssource/src_files/ directory gone after upgrade
  • Silent Upgrade errors out ( PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined method RepairAndClear::clearExternalAPICache() in silentUpgrade_step2.php )
  • Certain customizations to the ‘templateMeta’ section of editviewdefs are not being preserved.

Rest assured that we are working on them internally, and will be including them as a part of our 6.2.1 upgrade coming in mid-July. We advise anyone upgrading from a previous version of SugarCRM to 6.2 to wait to upgrade until after the 6.2.1 patch comes out.

Thanks everyone for your understanding!

I am having all sorts of issues with 6.2.

    My environment:
    Debian Squeeze
    PHP Version 5.3.3-7+squeeze1
    Apache/2.2.16 (Debian)
    APC 3.1.3p1
    Mysql: 5.1.49

Rename tabs never works.  etc etc.

    From the logs:

[FATAL] Configuration variable date.timezone is not set, guessed timezone America/Los_Angeles. Please set date.timezone=”America/Los_Angeles” in php.ini!
