Install SugarCRM on Cloud PaaS: PHP Fog

The series talks about deploying SugarCRM in several different Cloud-based PaaS ( Platform as a Service  ) solutions. In this part of the series, he shows how to deploy SugarCRM in PHP Fog.

PHP Fog provides cloud platform to host only PHP-based application. Interesting thing is that SUgarCRM CE is one of four applications available in “one click/jumpstart” installation but we will interest in configuration of standard PHP apps to host by example SugarCRM Professional edition.

Step 1: Create your account
Go to and sign up for PHP Fog.

Step 2: Configure your application

  • Go to your account and add your SSH key
  • Nowcreate a new app:
    • Choose “SugarCRM” in “Applications” panel
    • Configure your SugarCRM login/password, your root MySQL password and the URLs where your application will be available
