For those of you who have been to one of our SugarCRM Code Sprints in the last year, you know first hand on how rewarding the experience was. From meeting Sugar engineers and other partner developers, to being able to work side by side with them in building new features and functionality into the product, code sprints have been a great source of new innovation for the Sugar Platform. Look no further than features such as the AJAX UI, Import Enhancements, and extended customizations hooks that have come in recent release as a testament to what great features come from co-innovation. And this experience is an amazing training opportunity as well, with developers working side-by-side with the Sugar engineers that wrote the code giving their insight into best practices with working with the Sugar platform.

And now, you have the chance to be part of the next generation of it!

We are excited to announce our lineup of code sprints coming in the first half of next year. We are taking the show on the road, making it easier for our developers in different regions of the world to be a part of the fun. Here’s where we will be:

  • PHPBenelux Conference in Antwerp, Belgium ( January 27th-28th ) – We will be sprint alongside the PHPBenelux conference, with the theme of “Integrations”. This we be a unique opportunity to bring together the European PHP Community with our Sugar Community to build all sorts of great integrations to other applications, frameworks, and services. Contact me at jmertic@sugarcrm.com if you are interested.
  • Raleigh, NC ( February 21st-23rd ) – We will be sprinting at the newly opened Raleigh office, with the focus on a “Spring Cleaning” of the Sugar platform. Register for this event here.
  • Cambridge, UK ( May 15th-17th ) – We’ll be back in Europe in May, this time bringing the event near our UK community with the ever popular theme of “i18n and L10n” ( known to developers as “internationalization and localization” ) with the goal of solving many of these issues that occur in the application. Registration for this event is open here.

We look forward to many more code sprints in the new year, coming to more locations all over the world including Latin America, Asia, Eastern Europe, and other locations in the US. Have somewhere you’d like to see us come to? Let us know in the comments or on Twitter. Look forward to seeing our partner and community developers at these events!
