SugarCRM: Emails Not Showing In History Subpanel

Have you ever had a user complain that items are not showing up in the History Sub-Panel?  Here are SugarCRM we have had that problem a few times since upgrading to 6.4.  Lucky for us this is an easy problem to solve.  Click on read more to find out how to do this.

  1. Start by going to the Users Section of the Administration module
  2. Find the user that is having the problems and open the edit view for their user
  3. Click on the “Advanced” Tab and look for this section:
  4. Move Emails from the “Hide Tabs” section, If Meetings, Calls, and Notes are there as well move then over.
  5. Save the User
  6. Have the user logout and back in again and they should be able to see the items in the history sub-panel.
Please note: This does not always work when the admin does these steps, sometimes the end-user has to follow these steps and then logout and back in again to fix everything.
